A huge thank you and well done to everyone who remembered about the package free lunch today. Mrs Canning and the Eco-club children were delighted with the excellent eco-friendly lunches. 43 out of 63 packed lunches were completely free of single-use plastics. A wonderful achievement and a great step towards reducing plastic in our school.
From September we plan to have a package free lunch once a month. Hopefully we can continue to improve on these numbers and further reduce the amount of plastic waste we are creating.
