On Tuesday 17th November the Red Room enjoyed a wonderful trip to the Ulster American Folk Park in Omagh. Our topic this term is Hunger and we have been focusing on the Great Irish Famine. During our visit we learned about what life would have been like in Ireland in 1845, the conditions of the dreaded coffin ships and what life was like in America after emigration.
