P5-7 enjoyed a fantastic cookery demonstration by Wenda from LMC (The Livestock and Meat Commission). We discussed where our food comes from, how it grows, what our farmers do to ensure we get the best quality produce and how we can support NI farmers by buying food produced here. Wenda cooked a lovely chilli beef pasta dish for the children who thoroughly enjoyed it, many coming up for more. Each child received a recipe book full of dinner inspiration.
