If Mrs Steen is notified of a positive case in a classroom and your child is deemed a close contact, the following will happen -
1.You will get a seesaw and text message to book a PCR test for your child.
2. Log on to https://www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test to do this.
3. Your child stays at home until results come through.
4. If negative they can return to school but MUST repeat PCR on day 8. Be vigilant for new symptoms.
5. If positive they stay at home for ten days.
Much more detail will be sent in the letter.
