As part of our project with the Limavady Rotary Club, we have been able to sign up to Lend with Care, a website that connects us with people from low-income countries across the world who need loans to set up or grow their business in order to provide for their family. The children loved coming together, reading the business plans set out by each entrepreneur, voting on who they wanted to lend money to and how much they would give. We were given a very generous budget of £500 from the Rotary Club to lend to these people and we hope to see a return coming back to our Lend with Care pot over the next year.
