Today we stepped back in time to 1845 where our teacher was the very strict Mrs McKinley. Not a cheap was heard in our classroom and no one could even turn around without being given permission. We learnt about what life would have been like for boys and girls living in the workhouse during famine times and have a new appreciation for all the comforts and privileges we enjoy today.
