Today was the first time we have taken part in the Big Pedal Event and Mrs Canning was absolutely delighted with the response. We had over 40 children who chose to travel actively to school. Well done to all of you!
In addition to this every child in school took part in at least 30 minutes of exercise throughout the day. I certainly felt more awake and alert this morning travelling to school by bike, as did Mrs Gardiner and Mrs Van Wyk.
Hopefully you have lots of tired children tonight who enjoyed being active and will choose to travel actively more often, if possible.
