School wishes to thank most sincerely Mrs Sandra Brown, Mrs Mary Brown and Mrs Kynn McIlmoyle for their many years of service. The occasion was marked with an 'Afternoon Tea' on 31 August 2021.
Mrs Sandra Brown has taught generations of children in the Burnfoot community. She has taught in Drumrane since it opened in 2008. Sandra will be remembered for her dedication and devotion to the job, whether in her work with Special Needs, Child Protection or class teaching.
Mrs Mary Brown joined the staff at Drumrane in the Spring of 2009. Mary is a pleasure to have worked with - she was very creative and the children were taught in a lovely gentle manner.
Mrs McIlmoyle also retired from her support work with literacy and numeracy. She has helped many children progress throughout the years and school is very grateful.
Mrs Whiteman will now take on the role. School presented the staff with gifts of jewellery and vouchers for Hastings, Lamont's Garden Centre and Blackheath Pottery.
