Good morning Red Room,

I hope you are all keeping well and staying busy with all that work I sent home to 'entertain' you! :) I have no doubt that at this very moment you are half way through your first proof reading and editing passage, looking forward to problem 12 in your word problem booklets after that well deserved break you will soon have ;)

I have an e-mail address for most of your parents but I am going to keep in contact with you through our page on the school website so keep looking on here for messages from me.  I will entertain you with stories about Dex, keep you up to date with all the crazy art and craft activities I'm experimenting with at home,  I'll ask you funny questions which you can have fun researching and point you in the direction of the telly if I see any educational (or just funny) programmes scheduled.  With parental permission you can of course e-mail me from your parents address to ask any questions about the work that I have sent home or to tell me anything exciting that's happening in your life at this time.  You know I love a funny story about cats with mice or falling into a big wet puddle!

Today's question to start us off and keep us smiling:

Why is snot green?

Yes I did just ask you to conduct research to find out why snot is green!  Sorry parents I know it's rude to talk about snot but sure let's lighten the moment when we're all focused on catching that slimy green substance in a tissue, binning it and most importantly washing our hands after!

So what did the snot say to the nose?

I gotta run... as do I so chat soon.   Mrs McF
