Wednesday 22nd April
Hello Bluebells (the reason for the name will become clear trust me),
Have you got back into the swing of school work yet? We are easing our way back to work slowly after the Easter break but we have been out and about in the garden and forest 🌳 looking for the ever apparent signs of spring. On our forest walk today we were amazed by the growth of the bluebells since we were last there and it opened up a whole conversation about flowers, seasons and weather. As we approached home I got asked a question that I couldn't really answer confidently. My 4 year old turned to me and said, "Mummy, why is the sky blue?" I'm sure my face was a picture as it started to screw up into many different versions of confusion 🧐. I didn't really know the answer! So I'm putting it to you... Why is the sky blue? Well that gives you an insight into the things I've been doing but what about you?
I absolutely love hearing from you and all the great activities you have been getting up to since we were last together and would love to create a post on our website to share and celebrate everything we have been doing. If you would like to take part and share something with the rest of the class please do the following:
- Choose something that you would like to share. It could be a story you have written, something you have built, you enjoying a walk with your family, something you have baked, a piece of artwork you are proud of or you perfecting a skill. The list is endless, it can be absolutely anything!
- Ask permission from a parent to share your experience with me and allow me to put it on the website. Talk to this person about why you have chosen what you did.
- Ask someone to take a picture or video of your work. Don't worry if you don't want to be in the picture you don't have to be.
- Ask your parent to send me the picture, video or a copy of your story via e-mail along with a description written by you about what your picture/video is about.
- Do this by Saturday 25th April and I will post it on our school website on Monday.
- Please note that anything I receive from your parent's e-mail address I will assume has been given permission to be posted on the website unless otherwise stated in the message section.
Some of you have sent me some wonderful work already so if you would like me to use anything you have previously sent just let me know and I will post that.
Also, we have been asked if we could forward some photographs of your hoodies to John Paul Fashions so if anyone would like to send me a picture of their hoodie please do so and I will forward it on.
I am excited to see what pops into my inbox from you and of course I will put up some pictures of all the hard work I have been getting up to :)
