Child Protection

At Drumrane, we recognise that happy children are the best learners. We believe that the most important role of our school lies in the protection and safety of the children’s physical, social and emotional well-being. We take every effort to provide a comfortable, safe and welcoming environment for learning. We strive to protect or pupils by helping them learn about appropriate behaviour and to acquire the confidence and skills to keep themselves safe.
In Drumrane, we ensure pupils and parents can identify the Safeguarding Team and the staff whom parents and pupils can speak to if they have a concern. In all cases, it is the policy of the school to act in the best interests of a child.
