Hello my Han Solos,

Happy Star Wars Day! Any Star Wars fans out there know why today is Star Wars day? If you want a challenge go and research it now before looking at the pictures below.

I hope you had a great weekend and did well on your Friday test. The weather has been lovely again so hopefully you did some exploring outside.

Today’s challenge is a fun one... Riddles! Now, some of you will know the answer to these very quickly as you have challenged me to similar ones before and I have to admit I am terrible at riddles! I’m a very literal thinker so find it difficult to think around what has been said. I’ll maybe get better at this skill when I grow up 🤣.

Enjoy:

  1. What gets wetter the more it dries?
  2. When you look for something, why is it always in the last place you look?
  3. A cowboy rode into town on Friday.  He stayed in town for three days and rode out on Friday.  How was that possible?
  4. One night, a king and a queen went into a castle.  There was nobody in the castle, and no one came out of the castle.  In the morning, three people came out of the castle.  Who were they?
  5. What runs, but never walks, often murmurs – never talks, has a bed but never sleeps, has a mouth but never eats?
  6. What has a face and two hands, but no arms or legs?
  7. What has to be broken before you can use it?
  8. Lives in winter, dies in summer, and grows with its roots upward.  What is it?
  9. It starts out tall, but the longer it stands, the shorter it grows.  What is it?
  10. What belongs to you but is used more by others?
  11. What goes up and never comes down?
  12. How can a man go 8 days without sleep?
  13. I’m full of keys but I can’t open any door.  What am I?
  14. What has a thumb and four fingers but is not alive?
  15. Which is heavier, a pound of bricks or a pound of feathers? The same – a pound is a pound!
  16. I’m light as a feather, yet the strongest man can’t hold me for more than 5 minutes.  What am I?
  17. Can you name three consecutive days without using the words Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday?
  18. Timmy’s mother had three children.  The first was named April, the next was named May.  What was the name of the third child?
  19. What kind of coat can only be put on when wet?
  20. What occurs once in a minute, twice in a moment, and never in one thousand years?

Do you know any riddles? Why not challenge someone at home or send me some and I’ll try my best to solve them 🤔.
