Visit from the Lifeguards
28th Apr 2017
On Friday 28th April, lifeguards Jonny and Jamie took our assembly. They taught us all about the different flags they use to warn us of any dangers or to show us where it is safe to swim (in between the red and yellow striped flag). We have picked up lots of useful tips which will help to keep us safe whenever we visit the beach. Check out RNLI.org/beach safety for more information.
If you ever get stuck in a rip current remember to:
- Stay nice and calm
- Hold onto anything that floats e.g. A bodyboard
- Shout for someone's attention
- Swim out to the side
